anybody have trouble with fnp in jacksonville fl? all of a sudden they stopped paying. i personally think that the title companies will start calling the notaries without using the signing services. they pay better and faster.
I have never had any problems prior with FNP, but there does seem to be some signing companies having problems out there. If you are a closing notary in Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Vermont or New York, I would be happy to add you to a database of closers that I may use when I get a closing in your area. I am a very small signing company and a closer myself who gives a personal touch and pays decently and quickly. If you want to send me an email to stctower@yahoo.com I will personally get back to you. Thanks and good luck...Steve...
Loan Signer Inc owe me $1,155.00. I tried using the company NNA suggested, Olddebts.com, they were unsuccessful, sending over 3 letters. They responded to one letter, asking me to take $462. Of course I replied NO. I reported them to the BBB in California, they have not been successful. I do not have any more options to take.
I would also file with the Attorney General. They may have more pull than the BBB. Maybe they are wanting to see how far you will go. If this doesn't work, I would do small claims court. More than likely, you will get paid before so you can drop the charges. Then tack on the court costs to the total due....
I agree with Michelle on the Attorney General thing. Although all I had to do is tell Loan SIgners Inc. that I called my AG office and they told me to try once more. When I did, they paid, and the FULL amount. (They were only trying to pay me peenies b/c the borrower didn't sign!) They will push you until you get them into a corner, but they are scraed of getting in trouble, so they'll eventually do it.
