We Stamp For Cash

I have been doing many (when I say many, I have had 5 in 2 days.) Full Spectrum Country Wide signings-- Why is it that only one of the companies that hired me are requiring fax backs. I think, it would be the same across the board and there would be no need for that anymore since it isn't required by CountryWide anymore. Is this a Title company decision? Just curious.

I have had a couple of SS that require fax backs. I have found for the amount of time it takes for the fax back, along with the actual travel time and signing, that it's not worth it for me. I'm assuming it's a SS decision, just to make sure that all the documents going back to the client are correct.

I had one tonight that was a refi on an investment property. Countrywide called me at the signing table TWICE. Of course I didn't answer the call BECAUSE....I was at the darned signing table and I don't take calls at the signing table. LOL SOOOO Since they couldn't get me, they called the borrowers. The doctor hands me the phone and I tell the lady I'm AT THE SIGNING table, what do you want? She says she needs a faxback of some docs that weren't included in my confirmation (which only included faxing back the HUD and one other page). She asked if I wanted to write down what she needed? I said NO...I don't want to write down what you need, I am in the middle of a signing. Please just email to me what you want, and I will address it when I get through here.

If I fax back more than 10 pages, I charge an additional $25.00. What they requested was under 10 pages, but you had to go pull out the siggy pages. Smart on their part as they get what they need, and no bump on the price. I printed 112 pages X 2, so wasn't a bad set of docs to pull it out of.

Depends on what it is whether it's a SS decision or not. Don't think SS's require most of the faxbacks. Countrywide has been notorious for them in the past, but that has changed, EXCEPT on an investment property, and that faxback isn't even bad right now. Countrywide was a total pain before, but they're pretty much the norm now with everyone else. They had a ridiculous amount of ID documents...damn...that was a bit overwhelming compared to everyone else on this one. I filled out about 8 of them. That drives me NUTS on all these loans when they have multiple docs for you to identify the signers. Why wouldn't one doc with all the info in there do it? I never understood that, but they ALL do it...not to the extent this loan tonight was, but there are always multiple docs for ID.

Have a great night, and good luck in the coming months to EVERYONE!

Do to the economic crisis agencies are trying to protect themselves. Don't be surprised if more companies start asking for them.
