Has anyone received an assignment from Cover Sign recently? 3 months overdue on payment and cannot get them on the phone (no matter what option you choose when you get their greeting) and no return email. I know they just moved from Kentucky to Atlanta about a month ago. That was their excuse at the time but it's not holding up anymore. Does anyone have info on them? Are they out of business, change their name......something...anything??????? Just left frustrated again.:(
Interestingly enough I tried to get ahold of them as well. I didn't know they moved to Georgia. I left them a message and email onf 1/30 and then today 2/5. I hope they are running late because of their move. And it is very frustrating.
I think they went belly up. I called that Georgia number it is called Cogent Signing - they said they had an affiliation with Coversign which no longer exists. The gal that answered in GA said she recently got alot of calls asking for
Maurice Colemen regarding unpaid signings. Aledgedly he is still in Louisville and the Georgia move is misinformation. My signing with them was Pearl Harbor Day 2007 (12/7). Good luck to you signing agents who have dealt with Coversign, you like me have now become a victims of your destiny.
Hey Marshall......thanks so much for the info. I had a feeling. It's been "my" experience and it's weird, but the one's who sound the most aggressively trusting when they call (and Maurice did) are the one's who do this sort of thing. I find it amazing how we were asked to go through background screenings to make sure we were on the up & up.....trustworthy, good citizens, yet some of these companies out there who call us turn out like this. Who checks "them" out???? I'm tired of being robbed of my time, my supplies and my services!!!!!!!!!
Kim that is why we are fools as business people to accept $50 or $60- $80 signings. Things are rough out there
but some of us newbies just don't have ant idea of the cost of delinguent accounts recievables and it actually cost them money when they accept such low fees. We must charge extra to make up for our losses.
