NOT RECEIVING PAYMENT FOR SERVICES PROVIDED TO SOX SIGNING SOLUTIONS OR SIGN ON THE X

Hello Fellow Notaries!!!!! I would like to know of any Notaries in The USA that have NOT reveived payment from Sox Signing Services.. I have $500 + money owed to me since 2006, and have received calls about doing signings..

I spoke directly to Debbie Vladic who is in charge of Sox in California. She called me in June, and swore that she wanted to make things right by paying up the money she wowed me, so we could embark on a new business relationship, and I would then once again do signings for them.

She promised she would start paying me weekly, starting with that day , since she could not do it all at once, and I had heard nothing from her, and kept calling back every 30 days, and she would put Melissa on the phone to get my info.

Still not a penny... On August 3rd, I sent her another email- saying about what happened to the promises she made me to mend the business relationship, and pay what was due to me.
She said she had not forgotten about me, and was waiting for money to come in..


The end of September I once again sent her an email, telling her I was losing faith, and my patience!! This time- no responce back..

I had previously filed a complaint in late 2007, with the BBB in California, which did absolutely nothing for me.. Now I am contemplating contacting The Attorney Generals office in her area.
I know there has to be alot of other Notaries out there besides me and my daughter that got stiffed from Sox, so what can't we file a class action suit against them??

Susan, you've been ripped off by the biggest deadbeat companies there is.I am terribly sorry to have to tell you this.
You can confirm this information yourself by checking the other Notary boards: Notaryrotary, Notarycafe and 123Notary,You'll see they've been ripping Notaries off since 2004.I suggest you stop working for them. You might want to check into filing a small claims suit against them.In the future, I strongly suggest you check companies out before you work for them,so as not to get ripped off again.Good luck.

Hi Jim- Thanks for responding- I have not worked for Sox since 2007... I filed a complaint against them with the BBB in CA, and they asked me to refax the invoice so I could get paid- which I never did and I was promised to get my money owed to me.. I can't believe they continue to rip Notaries off like that and get away with it!!

Can I file a small claims to get my money when they are in another state??? I was thinking of contacting the Attorney generals office in CA about it

Hi Susan,

The BBB won't do anything to help you collect your fees from SOX. They already have an "F" rating and you'll see they don't respond to complaints filed against them.It couldn't hurt to contact the AG in California and see what they can do, but I wouldn't expect them to help much.
Check with your local small claims court for the necessary forms to file a small claims suit against these criminals in California.You could also look into collection agencies that would go after them.Every Notary that's been cheated by this company needs to take action against SOX, as they continue to cheat Notaries around the country every day, and they must be stopped.Too many Notaries have just given up on collecting and that's exactly what these deadbeats want.I wish I could do more to assist you.Good luck. I didn't know that I could file in small claims court about it since they are in another state.

I will check into it and the Attorney Generals office as well..

The reason I posted this message was in hopes that other Notaries who also got burned would come forward and join forces with me to get the money that Sox owes them. too.

I am surprised that noone did.

Hi- no I have not- I never got paid for any of my signings- and I did 9 of them for Sox from 2006-2007!
I filed with the BBB against them in 2008, and they said to fax an invoice which i did- but still never got paid.
Back this past summer around June they called me to do a closing, and i said that i wont work for them again until they pay me for 9 they already owe me. The owner swore she would- but here it is almost 6 months later and not a dime from them!
