WOW!! Busy End Of April!

Phone's been ringing like crazy. Friday's booked about as solid as it can get. Last signing is about 25 miles out of town at 8:15, and then with all the faxbacks, invoicing, and emailing I'll be lucky to be finished by 11:00. Sure hope all the edocs get in early. I have probably 1800 pages to print tomorrow (including borrower copies). Reminds me that I better order some more legal paper in the morning. Only have 2 for Saturday so far but judging by the number of closings I had to turn down for Friday, I think quite a few will book Saturday. Saturday is the last day to close and the loan still close for April, as you all know. April and March have both been pretty good months, and April EOM is better than March was. Hope that is a good sign for us all.

Hope everyone's busy! I have a lot of dollars hangin out there right now for March and April, and still lacking some February closing payments. Hope they all pay.

Man you are really lucky to have so many signings. I have not had a signing in so long. It is so slow here. I sure hope it will be picking up soon.

Thank God, my eom April and May were finally something to write about. I have had so few signing the last few months, I felt like a newbie going back out on signings! LOL I am in the Southern California area. I hope that this is a sign that things are looking up..sure did for me anyway. Before that, the signings were few and far between, I still had regular things, birth certificates, union documents, POAs, but no loan signings. Luckily I have been paid too. Hope it picks up for everyone soon!

how do you obtain work for birth certs, union docs poas?????

You just have to let everyone you know, know that you are a Notary Public. In California, because of identity theft, they have to have a notarized document that says they are the parents or the person who birth certificate it is to be able to get one. Power Of Attorney's, I do a lot of work at several hospitals and nursing homes in my area...and people having major surgeries often want this document....or if people own a home and one is going on to where they will be living, the other may need it to get the home they are in sold. Union papers, you just have to let everyone know what you do. The more
your friends and family know they more referrals you will get. I give several of my cards to everyone in my family and close friends...just in case.
