We Stamp For Cash

I have a friend that is a paralegal so recently I've been able to do some non-loan signing work for her. The latest adventure was yesterday.

After a drive out to Glendale I completed the notarizations. The good thing about men is that sometimes they're just not willing to do their research. I told him my travel fee would go from $50 to $75 if I have to drive to Glendale and he was willing to pay it just to make things easier so he wouldn't have to search for a local notary.

I'll be looking into a few paralegal associations so I have the opportunity to meet more paralegals. Sometimes we're so focused on loan work we forget about other ways to make money. And the great thing about non-loan work is you get paid then and there, not weeks later.

One time I did a loan signing for an attorney in his business office. After the signing was finished, a friend of his who was a criminal defense attorney practicing in the same office building dropped by for a visit. When he learned that I was a notary, he told me that he may need my services for some of his incarcerated clients.
