I'm a licensed MN Closing Agent, and a Certified Signing Agent through the NNA. I also hold my WI commission. I've been a Signing Agent for approximately 3.5 years.

On the side, I own a small vending business, so between the two roles, I really do live in my vehicle! LOL!

I was born in the Philippines and moved to MN when I was 8 years old. Yes, the change in climate was indeed a shock to the system!

While I have lived in MN for most of my life, I do hope to relocate to a warm state by the time I retire. Preferably, near the ocean......ahhhhh....

In reality, if I didn't have a DVR, I wouldn't watch much tv.

Best/Craziest Notary Story

A borrower who was still suffering from the effects of all night partying, although he claimed he was fine.

It was a 9am Saturday morning appt. House was dark and he wanted to sign docs at a small table in the living room that had a tiny lamp that was maybe 12" in height. I suggested we move the kitchen table due to the window but he refused.

In the first 30 minutes he did the following or I discovered:

1. Went into the kitchen 7 times to light his cigarette at the gas stove;
2. Kept correcting his initials and signature by writing over it;
3. Kept asking me to repeat the rate and payment;
4. Kept asking me about my social life;
5. An albino rat that stood taller than the lamp was in a cage on the table with us;
6. Noise I kept hearing behind me was a drunk friend of his passed out on the floor.

I finally told him that I could not continue with the closing when he said he wished his Daddy was there to help him. He was so mad at me for stopping the closing that I told him I had to call the LO. The LO tried to convince me to finish but I held my ground. LO finally relented and got on the phone with him and told him to go to bed and sober up and then someone could come back later that day.

Needless to say, I assigned the closing to someone else in the company! LOL!
