My business is Creative Resource Solutions and I network with others as well as stay very busy doing loan signings full time in my area. I would like to find a few more good notaries in my area to turn over business to when I am unavailable, send me an E-mail if you live near by! :)
I am in sacramento,ca, and looking for work if you have work please send it my way too. I am a mortgage loan officer as my other profession/certified loan signer
Hello Jennifer,
Thank you for the invitation. Real Estate in San Diego has slowed to something less than a crawl. Consequently, signings are very slow. Recently, I have worked with a couple of signing agencies. In general, I found them to be a bit arrogant (they think eveyone is desperate for work) and very greedy. For example. Last week I did a signing for Docpros. They charged the borrower $350! and yet paid me $65.00. The other two signings I did for them were similar as far as percentages go. On each occasion, they paid me less than 1/2 of what they were charging. I think I'll go back to my business practice of not working with signing agencies.
Have you signed any commercial or bulk sale loans? If so, are the loans documents significantly different from residential documents?
I agree with one of the comments on your site. Notaries need to start demanding reasonable fees from the signing agencies or simply don't work with them. If one is desperate for the money, a change in jobs is probably in their future.
Hi Jenifer,
I was wondering how the Notary Blue Book has been going. Have you received any signings yet? How were they and was it worth it? I am sure it was I just want some feedback before I commit. I have also found a way to get the Lenders attention. It is with a personalized bio of yourself in a card or a postcard. You can put your picture, copy of comission, whatever you want and personalize it to the Lender. I also have over 3,000 lenders all over the U.S. addresses that come with the package. If you want any information email me at wendisanotary@yaho.com. I look forward to the information regarding Notary Blue Book!!
Thank you\

Please keep in touch with me on the outcome. do you know when the next one comes out? Do you have any suggestions on how to increase signings? I only get about 10 a month. I think there are only 2 other notaries in my area! Help!
Wendi
Hi Jenifer. I live in Huntington Beach so OC is my home. Also, willing to travel to a bit further to areas such as LA, Riverside, and San Diego.
Look forward to hearing from you.
