This week I went to North County and I saw some of the fire damage in Rancho Bernardo area and Valley Center. I was told my favorite bakery in Rancho Bernardo, Edelweis, was burned down. The fire came right up to people's back yards. There were a lot of scorched Palm Trees. I did not take my camera on this trip so there are not any pictures--sorry! I will try again. I have more traveling to do in the county.

This weekend I drove down Hwy 94 to survey some of the fire damage from the Harris fire. Highway 94 mostly skirted around the northern edge of the fire but there were places where the road was burned on both sides. At the time of this blog I believe the Harris and Witch Creek fires are officially contained but the firefighters are still fighting the Poomacha fire on Palomar Mountain.

This morning I received a call for a same day signing. I was so excited but, wouldn't you know, the appointment was rescheduled before the phone call ended. It appears the client wasn't ready yet. I hope they call again.

I am very pleased to be able to join this site. I am a mobile notary public but I notarize documents other than loans.

I am mobile but I prefer to meet clients in public or professional settings. I am a longtime resident in San Diego and I feel very fortunate that I didn't have to evacuate during the recent fires.
