I am applying to be Notary of the Year with the National Notary Association and would appreciate your help!
I have attached the link for the brief form that I would appreciate you filling out. If you could write a little something about me and why you think I might be a good Notary of the Year or honoree as well I would appreciate it.
See the bottom of the form for methods to send to the NNA.
Here are a few things I want to tell you about what I have done over the years that you may not know about me and that perhaps you can add to your comments.
***I was a loan processor and underwriter for 15 years and decided to put all my focus on my signing business. I have been doing signings for more than 17 years. I have used my experience as a loan processor to assist me in providing high quality work for my clients. I know the inner workings of mortgages and that helps me to know what they want and expect with their document signings.
**There was a signing company that was well known for not paying its notaries. They were "stealing" tens of thousands of dollars from notaries across the nation. I felt that this was not right. I was able to get this case brought before a detective in the city where the company is. I was able to get hundreds of notaries to give the detective their information and the case was brought to the DA's office. Most of the notaries have now been paid and the case is still pending. The company was forced to close its doors. There are other businesses out there doing this, so having this case as a precedent to other companies to observe I hope will help notaries to show that you do have the power to change things if you take the time to do it. It is not easy because it is a complicated case, it was a bit scary too and these companies know how to get around so they don't get punished, but I am proud that I have helped many notaries get paid for the work they did for that company. The police department took the case seriously and still is and I am very grateful to them for that.
**I was Notary of the Month for Go Get Notary.com
**I am currently Notary of the Month for Maverick Document Signings. Was chosen out of 4,000 notaries for this honor.
**I mentored 2 other notaries on how to get into the business and now they run their own business. I have also mentored and assisted other notaries across the nation through the various forums and via email and phone calls. I enjoy helping other notaries get their "foot in the door" and am always their to answer questions they have. I have been doing this for 17 years and have the unique experience of having been an underwriter, so I feel I can help others when they run into issues or problems. It can be tough, especially when you first start in this business, so I try and help empower others to be confident in their abilities. I really enjoy helping other notaries across the nation.
**I figure I have done around 11,000 signings in my career so far.
**I went to university in England and travelled extensively. I have found that I am able to relate to many different kinds of people no matter where they are from. Hawaii has a very diverse population so I have found that that experience of being many places around the world has helped. I take special care to help the clients feel at ease and comfortable in what they are doing.
**In all of my years in this business If there is any issue I have always been able to take care of it with the agent on the phone at the signing or somehow help resolve it so they will feel ok to sign their documents.
**I am starting to market new areas such as hospitals, retirement homes and jails. I find that these are areas that need someone who can be sensitive and patient and can handle very personal transactions. Because I do this to help people, I want to go into areas that may be a bit more challenging but also can be rewarding as well.
These are some things that I thought I would share with you, however, I want you to let others know if you have been happy with my work and why you send me business. I work very hard to take good care of all my clients and borrowers. My goal is that I make the clients who hire me look good. I represent whomever hires me and many times I am the only person a borrower or client sees and I take that responsibility seriously. I want the person signing to go away feeling good.
Please let me know what you think. If you do decide to help me get nominated, please send me a copy too of what you send. I would love to see it as well.
It would be a great honor to be recognized by the NNA.
For me, I would like it because it would enable me to help others even more. The exposure would help me help others out there and that is my goal in the end.
Thanks for considering me and taking the time to do this. We have until September 15th to complete this.

Hi Jacqueline;
Can I interest you in some info where you can make residual income for life from home, if so send me your email and I will send you a very informative video.
These are HUD pricing guidlines for Texas, each state is different. Then some companies will ask you to give them a 25% discount below what HUD suggests you price. If you get volume work that's OK.
Can you tell me how your market to car dealderships and what exactly you tell them. Maverick Signings gave me the impression you had to use their lingo to get appointments!
