About Me:

Hello everyone! I am Kimberly Jones, a former mortgage loan auditor for a major bank in the South. After 9 years of service in their post-closing mortgage department, I was downsized as the result of a bank merger. Fortunately for me, through the years I've learned & worked in ALL ASPECTS of the real estate industry. Fresh out of high school, I worked for a national credit finance company for almost 3 years, entering customer data for financing approval. I was in the process of becoming a credit analyst when, unfortunately, the company moved to Phoenix, AZ. Next, I worked for a major national title company as a Closing Assistant, preparing files for closing, clearing title issues, gathering EVERYTHING necessary for the closing to occur, AND handling all post-closing duties & disbursements. Needless to say, their office was QUITE understaffed; but in the end, I learned a GREAT DEAL handling loan closing files from the point of inception (ordering title work) to the closing table. I took real estate classes during the evenings on my own accord, to better understand my new complex, enjoyable yet challenging job. While working at the title company preparing files & mortgage documents for closing, in 1998 I became a licensed Realtor. After a year of service at the title company, on December 7, 1998, I took a job offer at a major bank to handle mortgage files in their post closing department. The rest is history....

Finally, I am currently pursuing my MBA in Business Management and I expect to be done with that by April 2008!!! YAY!!

All of that said, I am NOW a Certified & Background Screened Notary Signing Agent, handling loan closings for Shelby & surrounding counties, as well. I'm also a member of the National Notary Association & the American Society of Notaries. I've created, notarized & submitted literally thousands of documents for recording across the country, while working at the bank. I've JUST started this business and I'd like to converse with others who do the same thing...
