About Me:
Hi, I'm Cara and I love my job! I'm a Certified Loan Signing Agent and Certified Notary Public. I've been doing this for 4 years and enjoying my life. I am a Christian and go to an awesome church called Summit Christian Church and I'm a singer in a Christian rock band. I love to meet new people so say hi here or stop by my myspace at: www.myspace.com/cara1wayup. I'm also a dog lover. My babies are Mollie & Libbie and they are both red mini-dachshunds. I love sports. I am a pretty good bowler, love to play tennis, ride my jet ski and spend my summers at Lake Tahoe.
Company Name:
RTM Group
Favorite Music:
I like a wide variety of music. Some of my favs are: Nickelback, Chris Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Panic at the Disco, Josh Groban and Andre Boccelli. I still love pure Rock n Roll.
Favorite TV Shows:
I am a reality tv junkie. Of course I watch Survivor, The Amazing Race, The Bachelor, and in the summer Big Brother. I'm a Dr. Phil fan, but don't know if he could even help me! I used to love the View, but that show has changed so much I'm uncomfortable with it now.
Best/Craziest Notary Story
I get called to a job. They want me to meet at Starbuck's. The man and his barely speaking English wife show up separately. You see, it was his idea to borrow money, not hers. He want her to sign, she doesn't want to and is reading what she can understand to see if she's liable for the loan or not. She gets really mad, swears at him in Spanish, takes the pen and viciously scratches out the whole document with the pen and screams "I WANT A DIVORCE!!" She picks up her purse and stormed out of the coffee shop. I looked at the guy and said, "Well, I think the signing is over now". To make matters worse, the signing company calls me 10 minutes later to see if I can get the husband and wife together again so they could "talk". Hey, I'm not Dr. Phil, but counseling could be my side business!!

HI Cara,

I was reading your latest post and noticed that you are a field service inspector. I have been looking into that myself and wondered if you would be able to shed a little light on how you got started. There is not much about it on the internet. I did find one site that want's me to pay $79.00 for an ebook. I'm always kind of leary of things like that :) Anyway, any info you would be willing to share would be so appreciated. My email address is docsatyourdoor1@aol.com. Thanks!!!

Hello Friends,

I am delighted that you accepted my invitation to become a part of my network. I am sure you heard about the rainfall that we had here in Chicago Illinois last week. The rainfall only hit one side of town and that was our world famous Northside of Chicago. I had a closing on that day and I want to share with you that story. While driving to get closing signatures, there was a down por of rain that is unprecidented in my experience. I could not see the cars in front of me and the traffic was moving at a snarls pace. Scarry, Scarry, Scarry! Finally I approached my exit and pulled to the nearest curve and set for about 20-30 minutes waiting for the rain to slow down. I arrived at the clients office and to my amazement there she sat at her desk with her loan officer in sock feet, water surrounding them-- ankle deep in water. I had to take off my shoes and literally, "WADE IN THE WATER". They were seated at her desk and the office was just filled with water. The northside streets and sidewalks were covered with water and people were walking with their pant rolled up around their knees-- barefoot. This remined me of Noah's Ark and Katrina. The rain lasted about one hour and destroyed so many places and personal possessions. When I returned to the south side of Chicago-- no rain. Driving back was no party all the viaducts were flooded and the cars were literally sinking as if they had driven into a river. We must be thankful always. Delete Comment

Cara, I thought I had done signings for some "crazies", but your story outstrips mine. We should write a book! Thanks for the invite.

Thanks Cara. Sounds like business is better where you are than here in Florida at the present time. Hope things pick up soon. Good luck to you.
