Oh, I have fun with just about everything. Just planted some herbs and a few strawberry plants, but I'm not much of a gardener. I hang out with my Dad, who had a stroke a couple of years ago, or hang out with my husband. I don't make much money teaching singing, but I can't give it up--I enjoy it too much.

I continue to live in the past when it comes to her music and I keep it alive by signing it every week for Kareoke! :) Just a few competitions here and there. Thanks for becoming my friend and what do you do for fun? Jenifer

Profile Information

Hometown:
La Mesa, CA
Zip Code
91941
Notary Since:
March 10, 2001
About Me:
I'm a singing signing agent - one of my other jobs is a singing teacher. I'm also a licensed real estate salesperson. I can speak Spanish, French and German. Funny, around here in So Cal I don't do many signings in French and German... Blissfully married to a great guy, no kids.
Favorite Music:
Oh, just about anything! I've performed just about everything and taught just about everything and see the appeal of just about anything. Acid rock might be a little much for me--but then I know a few cuts I'd take on a desert island. Rap is OK if it doesn't get dirty.
Favorite TV Shows:
The Office, Scrubs, American Idol (occupational hazard) but only with my DVR so I don't have to wade through horrible performances and 30 minutes of commercials, same with The Apprentice and The Amazing Race.
Best/Craziest Notary Story
Hmm, the cats walking across the table, the flea bites I got at another house, the kids who want to borrow my stamp and drool on the documents, the signing I did on the hood of a pickup, the wierd guy in the dark house, the rage-a-holic in the downtown highrise, where does one begin???

This has nothing to do with notarizing... just grief in many forms

July is getting to be my least favorite month. My beautiful Scottish Fold cat died. She wasn't that sick when I took her to the vet--what happened there must have hastened her demise. But my Dad's a retired vet and I know you don't win 'em all. She was 13 or 14 years old (I think) which is fairly old for that breed of cat, but still... I miss her so much. She was so friendly and affectionate without being annoying. She was a cat that dog lovers loved. She was so gentle that I could tell child

I hate those teaser/negative amortization loans!

I can't talk about this when I'm at a signing, but I just hate those negative amortization loans. Yesterday I got sent out on one where the borrowers were unaware of any of the loan terms until I got there and they were appalled. It wasn't what they wanted at all and I don't blame them. I'm supposed to be a neutral party and so I can't tell signers this, of course, so let me vent here. Why don't loan brokers talk to their borrowers? It smacks of being shady when I just show up with a loan that i… Continue

The singing signing agent - have notebook, will travel

I've been using my notebook computer and ENJOA for a couple of years now when I go on signings. It has been a lot of fun and it is a lot easier to be accurate with my journal--especially since my handwriting is pretty awful. The clients are usually intrigued by it. I did have one woman who didn't want to use it because she was convinced her info would end up on the internet somewhere. I had to reassure her that I rarely went on the internet with that computer and that I wasn't sending her sig
